We may collect information such as your name, email address, contact telephone numbers, children’s names, children’s gender and dates of birth, home address and where you heard about Kickstars Football.
The website enquiry form collects your name, contact details, enquiry topic and message. Please do not include children’s medical or other sensitive information in that form. Class registrations, child details, payments, trials and waiting lists are collected separately by ClassForKids under the notices shown during booking.
This will only be used by Kickstars Football to operate, and planning and marketing of our sessions. We may provide information to third-parties (coaching and office staff) to support or supply the sessions appropriately or to contact you regarding Kickstars Football.
We may also use your information to contact you about other products or services that may be of interest or for market research purposes. You will always have the option to opt-out of such communications.
We use website enquiry details to respond, provide requested information and keep a reasonable record of our communication. Our legal bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
We will keep the information stated above for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfil the purposes that we describe in this policy. However, as a general rule, we will keep the information you provide when your child registers with Kickstars Football, together with any updates you make to that information, for the duration of your child’s enrolment.
Website enquiries are scheduled for deletion after 18 months unless we need a record for an ongoing booking, legal obligation or dispute.
We will not sell your data to any third parties; all sharing of data will be for Kickstars Football use only. We may share your information if requested with any law enforcement agency, court, regulator, government authority or third party where we believe this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation, or otherwise to protect our rights or the rights of any third party.
We promise we will never share your details with anyone else.
Our hosting and email providers process information for us under contract: contact notifications may be delivered through Resend, and bookings are completed with ClassForKids under its own privacy information.
We will not store any of your personal financial data that may be used when ordering products or services.
Shop and camp payments are processed by Stripe; Kickstars never receives or stores full card numbers or security codes. Customer accounts may retain addresses, order history and a Stripe customer reference. Gift vouchers retain their issue and redemption history.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The website uses strictly necessary browser storage to keep account sessions secure, remember a shopping basket and provide features you ask to use. Account session cookies are protected with HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite controls in production.
Stripe may use strictly necessary cookies or similar storage inside its secure payment components for payment processing and fraud prevention. These are used only when you use a payment feature and are covered by Stripe’s privacy information.
The website assistant uses only approved public information. Its conversation stays in your browser session and is not stored by Kickstars. If you explicitly consent to speak to a person, your name, email and full conversation are forwarded to our live chat provider and may be retained there for 30 days. If chat is unavailable, you can submit a normal enquiry.
You have the right to request a copy of any information that we currently hold about you by emailing hello@kickstarsfootball.co.uk. A small charge of £10 will be required for administration costs.
Depending on the circumstances, you may also ask for correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
At Kickstars Football, we will always endeavour to resolve any complaints efficiently and effectively to ensure satisfaction. A complaint should be emailed to hello@kickstarsfootball.co.uk for the main office to deal with. All complaints will be responded to within 24-hours.
